The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® presented by Events DC will welcome Walt Disney World Resort royalty, with Princess Tiana joining as parade Grand Marshal. In addition to celebrating the coming of spring with parade attendees, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is also celebrating the upcoming debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This amazing new attraction opens this summer and reminds us that dreams do come true!
Princess Tiana, the title character from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, will lead the nation’s springtime procession alongside special guests Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® is one of the Festival’s signature events and will take place on April 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., spanning Constitution Avenue NW between 7th and 17th Streets in Washington, D.C. This event will also feature hip-hop group, Sugar Hill Gang, plus American Idol finalist, Colin Stough, and performance group Batala.
The Parade will feature elaborate floats and balloons, award-winning performers, marching bands from across the nation, performances from local artists, youth groups, choirs, costume characters, and much more.

Local ABC affiliate 7News On Your Side is the official television partner for the National Cherry Blossom Parade and will air the Parade in a delayed telecast on Saturday, April 20, at 11:30 a.m. and on WJLA 24/7 News at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.
