Football was in the air last night as the Ravens kicked off pre-season against the visiting Eagles at M&T Bank Stadium Saturday night. Some fans were disappointed that Lamar Jackson, who just renewed his contract, did not start however fans got to see 1st round draft pick Zay Flowers play a few series.
While the game was tightly contested, one of the biggest highlights came when Justin Tucker kicked a 60-yard field goal at the end of the first half.
With the score 20-13, the Eagles threatened to rally late in the 4th quarter after Eli Ricks intercepted a pass and scored a 31-yard touchdown.
The Eagles missed the 2-point conversion and the Ravens held on to win their 24th consecutive preseason opener 20 to 19.
