Washington Performing Arts announced today that its season-opening concert with Itzhak Perlman and Emanuel Ax, scheduled for Monday, September 28, at 7:00 p.m. at Kennedy Center Concert Hall,
has been postponed due to Mr. Perlman having to undergo emergency gallbladder surgery.
The Washington, D.C., concert has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Patrons holding tickets to the September 28performance will be contacted directly with instructions on obtaining replacement tickets for the new performance or exchange credit toward other Washington Performing Arts performances in the 2015/16 Season.
Tickets for the rescheduled performance are now on sale to the public via the Washington Performing Arts Ticket Office and the The Kennedy Center Box Office.
