On this edition of THE INTERVUE, we are continuing our interviews with the cast of AppleTV+’s series “Swagger” Season 2, coming this Friday June 23rd!

Next on our docket is the wonderful talented pair of actors who plays “Jace” & “Crystal”, let’s welcome to the INTERVUE, Isaiah Hill and Quvenzhané Wallis

We’re about to enter Season Two of “Swagger”. And I want you to tell us about your characters in this upcoming season. I’m gonna start with you Q.

Quvenzhané Wallis – “Crystal” (QW): – Crystal is a powerhouse. She’s strong. She’s grown since you’ve seen her in season one. And if you haven’t watched season one, what are you doing? Like I was saying? She is incredible. I mean, I aspire to be here. I want to be her when I get older.

Isaiah Hill – “Jace Carson” (JH): Jace’s the captain, he’s poised. He’s calm. He’s reserved. And he’s just excited. No. Well, he’s excited, bro to take on life this year. And bring his team to another championship.

I’m so glad to hear and I hope they’re gonna win the championship for the season. Isaiah, you mentioned that “Swagger” is a series that inspired you and hopes that you have the power to inspire others within your age.” I want you to emphasize on that.

That’s what I walk with every day. It’s in all of my work on “Swagger”. I’m all I’m constantly giving flowers to my favorite basketball players and Jace. And just I want people to see that it’s dope to be a good son, a good brother, a good friend, and responsible for your journey and your craft and just trust yourself. So that’s what I feel like Jace Carson represents on “Swagger”. And that’s who I want to be in my personal life. That’s how I want to inspire others.

You definitely going to be an inspiration. Quvenzhané, you said that Crystal is a poignant reminder of the strength we have inside of all of us. Where do you find your inner strength, since you’ve been an actress for quite a while now, since you were six years old?

I mean, I don’t even find it within myself. I find it in my mom, my mom is my rock. She keeps me going. If I didn’t have my mom, I would not be here today. If I didn’t have my family, I would not be here today. If I didn’t have my best friend, I would not be here today. I have such a big support group. And so much love around me that I can’t not keep going like they will push me until I tell them I can’t any. And even then, they will still try to push because they always have the best interest at heart.

My last question is to the both of you. I want you to talk about your chemistry. How does that translate that to on screen for this upcoming season?

IH: We really push each other on and off screen. And it really shows on the basketball court. You know, she’s stubborn, but I try I teach her what I can, and she thinks she can beat me sometimes and….

QW: I know I can!

IH: You know, really got to see to Quvenzhané mature and just really grow into herself. We’ve really got to grow with these characters. And it just shows our we truly care about each other and our performances and every time we step on set, we raise the stakes, and we want to find discoveries you know, we’re doing it different ways and….

QW: we feed off each other that like he’ll do a one way and I’m like, “let me let me do it this way”. We also are very competitive with each other. Acting basketball, anything I mean, I’m always trying to one up him. He’s always trying to one up me, but it makes us better. It makes us other push each other.

Keep it here for our third & final installment of the Season 2 “Swagger” Interviews!
