Pepi Ginsberg—who is also known as N-A-R-C—is set to release her new EP “New Age Real Change” on her label Inscape Records and it is fantastic. The Brooklyn based musician is a singer/songwriter and artist, whose social media pages showcase her many forms of art, including paintings, photographs and a link to her music video “Venus, TX”. Although her EP will be released February 26^th, we can still sit and chat about her music and the awesome songs you are in for.

The perfect song to start out this review is “Anger Banger”. This track is fun to dance to and has an outstanding sound that the fans will be eager to rock out to. “Loosie” is an uptempo track with more energy than you will know what to do with. The beats alone will make you want to dance. “Venus, TX” is a unique title. The rhythm and the synth sounds of the track are hypnotic and will leave you in a trance.

Finally, we have the final track on the EP “Work”. This song is not as upbeat and energetic as the previous tracks, but has more of a rhythm and blues-jazz sound. While it’s a bit of a change of pace from the energetic tracks on this EP, “Work” is a song that will prove to be a favorite among N-A-R-C’s fans.

We are definitely in for a new age of amazing music. N-A-R-C’s creativity and love of art shines through her music and the fans will notice it as well. Each upbeat song will resonate with you and leave you wanting more. Whether you want to get up and dance to your heart’s content or sit back and tap your foot to each beat, you will be able to enjoy the colorful and melodious sounds of “New Age Real Change”. If the EP sampler is of any indication, I imagine the album is one that fans will request at the next house party. As soon as “New Age Real Change” hits the shelves, go get it. This is one EP you will want for your collection.

I love to write and have been doing so since the age of eight. Fictional stories have always been a favorite of mine, because it gives me a chance to be creative and to express myself in a multitude of ways. On more than one occasion, a song proved to be the inspiration to several stories I have written. Believe it or not, some of those songs were on soundtracks! That’s mostly what I listen to, aside from hits from the 1950’s up to the 1980’s. I’ve learned that anything can be the inspiration to a story, even a poster from the 1990’s or a DVD cover.

I’ve lived in Upper Marlboro all of my life and spent much of my childhood watching cartoons of all kinds, and listening to my older sister’s cassette tapes. Growing up, I listened to everything Jackson related, Paula Abdul, Elton John, and even the controversial group Milli Vanilli. As a teenager, I continued to listen to old-school hits and that was pretty much all I liked, aside from listening to all of Michael Jackson’s music. To this day, I still love old-school hits. That hasn’t changed.

I own a variety of CDs from artists such as Styx, The BeeGees, Michael Jackson, Queen, The Yellow Submarine Soundtrack, and many others. When a soundtrack comes out, there will always be one specific song from that album that I’ll love. It never fails.
