Menopause The Musical continues to empower women across the globe, keeping hot flashes “HOT” through thirteen years of production. The cast of Menopause The Musical includes Liz Hyde (Iowa Housewife), Kimberly Vaniesbrouck (Soap Star), Ingrid Cole (Earth Mother) and Sandra Benton (Professional Woman).
LIZ HYDE (Iowa Housewife) is celebrating seven years with Menopause The Musical, reprising her role as the show’s middle-aged housewife. Liz has loved touring with the production all over the country, especially enjoying shows in Alaska, Maine, and Hawaii. Other favorite roles include Sister Robert Anne in NUNESENSE, Betty in THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL and Meredith Parker in BATBOY.
KIMBERLY VANBIESBROUCK (Soap Star) has been seen in Menopause The Musical across the country. Her most recent credit includes playing Brooke in the Chicago Premiere of Motherhood The Musical. Other credits include, Judy Garland in BEYOND THE RAINBOW, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY, ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE, A CHORUS LINE, and A CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF.
INGRID COLE (Earth Mother) comes to us from the national tour of Menopause The Musical and from the Atlanta cast where she was an original cast member. She is the winner of the 2012 Suzi Bass Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal as Rose in GYPSY with The Atlanta Lyrics Theatre. She also won the same award in 2011 for A CATERED AFFAIR at the Aurora Theatre.
SANDRA BENTON (Professional Woman) (AEA/SAG) An actress with a gypsy spirit, Sandra has performed all over the United States and abroad. Most recently she’s been seen on television with performances in CHUCK (NBC), HOSTAGE: DO OR DIE (Investigation Discovery Channel) and in the web series BOOK CLUB (hulu.com/book-club). Past stage work includes a four year run of Menopause The Musical in Las Vegas, guest appearances in THE GEORGE WALLACE SHOW, THE BLUEST EYE, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE, WEST SIDE STORY among others.
Please note: In celebration of Father’s Day, the previously scheduled Sunday, June 15 performance has been cancelled. Those who have purchased tickets for the Sunday, June 15 show can exchange their tickets for one of the three other performances: Friday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
