This collab is not to be missed! See them live — I have feeling bigger venues are in their future. Not only is the name clever, but so is the music! To say it was “electric” is a fun double entendre, but seriously — the energy was sky-high, and everyone was ready to receive this new sound with open arms.
This is the brainchild of Yheti and lespecial. They’ve released their album “The Outernet” everywhere (you know where to look and listen), but experiencing it live — do I even need to say this? is the only way to fully get it. My dopamine has been released, and my OS has definitely updated!
The combo of jazz (yes, jazz), rock, and hints of ‘80s and ‘90s synth-pop; the explosive sounds and vocals; the live drums and electric guitar; plus, the layered samples of other instruments — it all comes together in an electric fusion for the soul!

My favorite “experiment” is “Static in My Veins” — but honestly, not one track is a skip. The talent level is off the charts! Want a great drummer? Here you are. Great singer? Yup. Mixing? Flawless.
This show was so good, it pulled me out of reviewer hiatus. I’ve been to plenty of shows during my writing break, but this one was so imaginative and innovative that I had to get my fingers moving again. Individually they’re fire — but together, they’re next level.
Go see Liminoid on tour! It’s a limited run for now as they gauge how the world responds to this genre-fusing experiment, but I have a feeling they’re at the forefront of a new musical revolution and revelation.
Let’s support them and show that we need more dates!
As an aside: Baltimore Soundstage was an optimal venue — easy parking and transit, smooth ticketing (with optional parking vouchers), and an overall hassle-free in-and-out experience, especially at that hour.
