John Waters’ CRY-BABY Coming to 4K UHD + Blu-ray May 28 from Kino Lorber Studio Classics

Kino Lorber Studio Classics is proud to announce the 4K UHD + Blu-ray release of John Waters’ 1990 musical comedy Cry-Baby, starring Johnny Depp.

This 4K UHD + Blu-ray edition presents both the theatrical cut in a brand new HDR/Dolby Vision master, from a 4K scan of the original 35mm camera negative (Disc 1, 4K UHD), and a brand new HD master of the Director’s Cut, from a 4K Scan of the 35mm Theatrical Cut original camera negative, 4K scan of the Director’s Cut interpositive (7 Minutes) and uprez of the SD master for the additional missing parts (Disc 2, Blu-ray).

Cry-Baby will also be released separately on Blu-ray. Both the 4K UHD + Blu-ray edition and standalone Blu-ray edition will be released on May 28, 2024.
