Since quietly opening its doors in August, 801 Chophouse Tysons Corner (8484 Westpark Dr.) has been delighting locals with its exceptional selection of aged USDA Prime cuts, plus select Japanese and domestic Wagyu beef, in addition to extraordinary service, earning a loyal following. Now, 801 Chophouse is excited to formally introduce itself to the DMV’s vibrant food scene.

Evoking the charm & vibrancy of a 1920s New York-style steakhouse, 801 Chophouse Tysons Corner invites guests into a timeless realm full of sleek and sophisticated finishes. With dark cherry and brass motifs throughout, the space is highlighted by a striking oval bar surrounded by high-backed booths, a lavish wine tower, a large gold leaf hand crafted bull in the center of the main dining area and eye-catching portraits depicting the evolution of the bull by Pablo Picasso.

Each visit to 801 Chophouse is a meticulous showcase of the restaurant’s in-house beef program, where only the finest aged USDA Prime steaks, along with premium Wagyu — A5 Japanese and domestic — and Kobe Beef, are prepared and served with the utmost precision and care. Each piece is selected and prepared by hand, ensuring a dining experience that is uncompromised at every step. The process begins with hand-selecting the finest USDA Prime beef, representing the top 1% of total U.S. beef production. This selection is further refined through proprietary in-house aging methods, both wet and dry, enhancing the meat’s flavor and tenderness. Steaks are presented tableside for guests to select their cut.

Complementing the meat program is a carefully curated daily fresh sheet, in-house pastry desserts, an impressive selection of small-batch bourbons and scotches, and an award-winning wine list. Known for exceeding expectations at every turn, the restaurant prides itself on its professional yet personable staff who deliver unmatched service. Additionally, 801 Chophouse excels in creating memorable experiences through private dining, offering intimate, elegantly appointed private dining rooms tailored to any occasion.

Guests can enjoy six private dining rooms at 801 Chophouse Tysons Corner, each designed to accommodate groups of varying sizes, from four or more for small intimate gatherings all the way to a full restaurant buyout which can host up to 400. These elegant spaces are ideal for various occasions, including corporate meetings, special celebrations, and intimate social events.
