Emmy-nominated actress and producer Fran Drescher, best know for her role on “The Nanny,” is coming to the NBC4 and Telemundo44 Health and Fitness Expo in March at the Washington Convention Center.
Drescher will be on the Health and Fitness Expo Main Stage on Saturday, March 10 at 11 a.m.
Drescher is a 17-year uterine cancer survivor who has turned pain into purpose through her leadership as a cancer advocate. Her mission is to shift America’s focus toward proactive health care and healthy, toxin-free living. Drescher believes the best cure for cancer is not getting it in the first place.
As founder and president of the non-profit Cancer Schmancer Movement, she focuses on three prongs to fight the disease: early detection, prevention, and advocacy.
