The weekend has come and gone and DC Fashion Week still grows.
Although I did not make it Sunday night, I was still impressed at how this show has grown and fine-tuned itself.
From the Friday night networking party, which is always fun, to the show itself, there is always something to see. Saturday’s show featured some really eye-popping work with a LOT of color. Some of the designers featured included Rz1nt Studios, led by Andy Velasquez, who is still in his teens; Mr. Official; Fernanda Salazar; MAP Designs; and many others.
The main thing that has always impressed me with DC Fashion Week is that Ean Williams and company have given voice to so many diverse designers from all backgrounds. Each year I go, I know I am going to see something different. I can only imagine what I will see in September.
