Lauded Scottish recording artist Brooke Combe is heading back to the US this fall supporting soul singer Jalen N’gonda on his Doctrine Of Love world tour. Combe will bring her “vintage styled soul” (CLASH) to 14 cities across the US, in addition to dates in Europe. These shows will mark Brooke’s debut in multiple US cities – shows include New York’s Brooklyn Steel and Los Angeles’ Fonda Theater. All dates below and find more information here.
Heralded by The Guardian as “a future megastar,” Combe has had a whirlwind of a year following the independent release of her debut album Dancing at the Edge of the World. Combe won Rolling Stone UK’s “PlayNext Rising Star Award,” opened for Benson Boone on his American Heart Tour in arenas across the US, wrapped a sold-out UK headline tour, performed on the prestigious BBC show Later…with Jools Holland as well as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and most recently, Dancing at the Edge of the World won the public vote for the Scottish Album of the Year Awards. Combe just wrapped a run of sold-out shows in the UK including dates at London’s KOKO and Liverpool’s O2 Academy.
Her current single “Tears Won’t Lie” is an openhearted offering that sees Combe yearning for earlier, better times with a loved one. The music video – directed by James Slater – catches Brooke and her friends escaping the dreary British weather for a night on the town.
