Singer-songwriter Alisan Porter is thrilled to announce her new EP The Ride to be released on June 21. As a preview she has released her new single “Bleedin” that is out now. This is the third single off the new EP that has been released. “See in The Dark” and “Meant For Me” where the first and second singles she has released.
Alisan Porter says ‘“Bleedin is a song about the loss of a partnership. It was initially inspired by a friends divorce but after further investigation its really just a song about loss and letting go and knowing when to walk away from a toxic environment.”
Alisan Porter is a multi-talented artist known for her exceptional skills as a singer, songwriter, actress, and vocal coach. Born on June 20, 1981, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Alisan discovered her passion for performing at a very young age. Her journey in the entertainment industry began when she won the first season of the reality TV show “Star Search” at the age of five. This early success paved the way for her future endeavors and set the stage for her remarkable career. As an actress, Alisan has showcased her versatility and acting prowess in various roles. She has appeared in films such as “Parenthood” and “Curly Sue,” leaving a lasting impression with her natural talent and ability to bring characters to life.
On Broadway Alisan has appeared in “Footloose” and was Bebe in the Broadway revival of “A Chorus Line”. Alisan’s most notable achievement came in 2016 when she competed on the tenth season of the hit TV show “The Voice.” Her incredible performances and undeniable talent led her to become the show’s champion, along side her coach Christina Aguilera. This victory solidified her status as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Alisan wrote and Co-produced her albums “Who We Are” and Pink Cloud” with Grammy winner Matt Rollings and her EP “I come in Pieces” with Greg Wells. She has collaborated with the best in the biz and co-wrote the song Aftermath for one of her closest friends Adam Lambert.
