Australian singer-songwriter Alex Cameron has shared a track off his forthcoming new album, titled “Jesus Never Had No Porno”. Within the song, Cameron dissects the hollow artifacts of modern indulgence, crooning with a jagged irony: “Jesus never had no porno/ Jesus never had Cocaine /Jesus never had Ibiza /He never even went to Spain.” Reflecting on the track’s creation, he observes, “‘Jesus Never Had No Porno’ is a song that happened to three men in a room. Afterwards there was a loud bang. The next day LA caught on fire.”

Cameron previously announced the release of his fifth studio album, Late to Set, due out July 24th. In January 2025 Alex Cameron exploded his life in a controlled detonation largely ignored by the universe. No one was safe. And nobody noticed. The charred remains of Cameron’s life fragmented and reassembled into 9 synthetic rock songs detailing his world’s deep confusion and regret.
