Farpoint Foundation announced that advance tickets are officially on sale to the general public for the 2027 Farpoint Convention, taking place February 5-7, 2027 at the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel in Towson, MD.
The Farpoint Convention will feature three days of programming, such as:
Art Show: In partnership with the Art Way Alliance, a network of local artists will provide several activities and workshops for attendees. An art auction will also be held with special collectibles from a multitude of fandoms.
Vendors/Dealers Room & Fan Tables: Exhibit space for attendees to meet different artists, small businesses, charities, fan clubs, social groups, and partner conventions.
Gaming Oasis – Hal’s Place: All kinds of activities from classic card games to unique board games will be hosted here for attendees to participate in.
Celebrity Q&A Panels and Autograph Sessions: Celebrity special guests will host several Q&A panels and autograph sessions throughout the convention.
Programming Tracks:
Literacy: Writers from novice to professional levels are welcome to learn about the art of writing, as are all lovers of books and stories to come together and share their love for literature.
Fandom Interests: Discuss your favorite shows and movies, independent films, publishings and arts, and more with our fan community.
Young Fans: Sessions will be held for younger audiences to develop their STEM skills that aim to inspire them to pursue future scientific careers.
Science: Dive deeper into the world of science and technology with professionals from all over the United States and learn about their latest developments.
Cosplay/Costuming: Learn about the technical aspects of costuming and help cosplayers develop their presentation skills. Cosplayers and Costumers are also invited to enter our annual Masquerade Costume Contest to show off their creations.
Live Events: Check out talented performers for musical, comedic, and dramatic performances and interactive activities.
Opening Ceremony: Join us as we kick off the convention weekend and meet many special guests. There will also be some fun items auctioned off for our charities, and entertainment to round out the evening.

Refashioned Hippie (Social Media Content Creator and Influencer)
D’Manda Martini (Drag Performer, Cosplayer, WATCH Award Winning Actor and 4x Nominated Costume Designer)
Marc Okrand (Linguist and creator of the Klingon language in the Star Trek science fiction franchise)
Additional guests will be announced leading up to the event. Details on, autographing sessions and panels will be revealed closer to the event. The application for panel programming is open now through September 30, 2026.

Pre-sale is also the only way to purchase up to 2 discounted celebrity signature tickets – this option will not be available at the door.
