A series of costly mistakes cost the Terps a win against the visiting Spartans.

Billy Edwards had another good outing throwing for 253 yards and two touchdowns but got picked off late in the game.

Tai Felton became the first Maryland WR since Jermaine Lewis in 1995 to have 150+ receiving yards in multiple games.

The game was a close affair until late in the second half when they scored a TD after a turnover and then later on, missed a crucial field goal. The Terps went from possibly being up by ten points, turned over the ball late in the 4th quarter, and lost by three points as Jonathan Kim kicked a 37-yard field goal in the final seconds of the game.

The defense while looking solid in the first half gave up big plays in the 2nd half and made costly penalties that lost them the game.

Maryland will play Virginia next week.
