At their only southern California show, Black Label Society brought the crowd to their knees at the sold-out House of Blues San Diego. BLS brought along Alice Cooper’s Fem Fatale Nita Strauss and Jared James Nichols. Zakk Wylde shredded every song with his iconic voice. The back-and-forth duels with fellow guitarist Dario Lorina are just electrifying. The rock-solid rhythm section of Jeff Fabb on drums and John DeServio on bass completes this black Metals kick-ass set. Between the dramatic smoke, skulls & cross mic stand and the flashing lights, it felt like you were in a 10,000-seat arena. What a way to kick off the first show of the tour.
