Maryland Opera continues to bring unique offerings to area audiences with “Voices in the Vineyard” on Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20 both at 7 p.m. at Boordy Vineyards in Hydes, MD.
These concerts will have limited capacity and patrons must reserve tickets in advance via marylandopera.org or by calling 484-678-6041. Logistical details concerning the venue will be communicated to attendees when they reserve their tickets. The venue is not ADA accessible and ticket holders will need to climb one flight of stairs to enter the performance space.
The program will feature selections from Opera, Operetta, and Broadway highlighting renowned and exciting young vocalists. All selections will be accompanied on the piano by Maryland Opera Artistic Director James Harp.
The concert will feature Rachel Blaustein, soprano, Brad Bickhardt, tenor, and Daniel Rich, baritone.
“We are thrilled to bring this program of beloved works from the operatic repertoire performed by Maryland-trained artists to Baltimore area audiences. The charming and rustic backdrop of the barn at Boordy Vineyards will provide a unique and unforgettable setting for this beautiful music.” said Harp. “Especially during these uncertain times, we recognize now more than ever the privilege and treasure it is to experience a live music performance. We remain committed to providing the grand opera experience to our audience!”
Tickets are $20 and are available on Maryland Opera’s website, marylandopera.org, or by calling 484-678-6041, and at the door on the day of the performance. Seating is limited, though, so tickets cannot be guaranteed to be available at the door.
