AN ACOUSTIC EVENING WITH JOHN HIATT
Weinberg Center for the Arts

Tuesday, May 21 | 7:30 PM
A master lyricist and satirical storyteller, John Hiatt delivers songs filled with tales of redemption, relationships and surrendering on his own terms. Hiatt’s finest album is 1987’s Bring the Family; other catalog highlights include the pop and rock of 1983’s Riding with the King, the rough-hewn blues-rock of 2008’s Same Old Man, and 2021’s Leftover Feelings.  His lyrics and melodies have graced more than 20 studio albums, have been recorded by Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, B.B. King, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt and scores of others, and have earned him a place in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, a BMI Troubadour award, and a lifetime achievement in songwriting designation from the Americana Music Association.

THE CALIFORNIA SOUND
Weinberg Center for the Arts
Saturday, June 22 | 8:00 PM
Whether it is the Surf Sounds of the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean, the Folk Rock of the Byrds, Crosby, Stills & Nash, or the Classic Rock of Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers and more, the “California Sound” helped define the music and culture of the 1960’s and 70’s. The Mahoney Brothers, America’s favorite tribute band, recreate the look, sound and lasting influence of the music that burst out of the West Coast at the height of the Rock & Roll era.

TERRY FATOR: ON THE ROAD
Weinberg Center for the Arts
Friday, July 12 | 7:30 PM
Legendary America’s Got Talent Winner Terry Fator and his cast of America’s favorite puppets are coming to venues across the country with a new version of his Las Vegas show. Terry Fator: On the Road Again features comedy, modern songs and favorites from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, hilarious musical parodies and Terry’s unique ventriloquism skills that have made him a must-see Las Vegas headline for the past 16 years. The puppet “cast” includes audience favorites country superstar Walter T. Airdale, Vikki the Cougar, Latin Lover Fernando V. Francisco, Terry’s annoying neighbor Duggie Scott Walker and Winston the Impersonating Turtle. Terry’s show features celebrity “guests”: Willie Nelson and Frank Sinatra. Bottom line, it’s a Music Hall of Fame roster of the greatest entertainers and their songs brought to the stage by master impressionist Terry Fator.
