Willy Joy & Buku

Willy Joy and Buku are up to their old shenanigans again, and not only have they unleashed a banging new collaboration, but they’re bringing it to the road too! “Combining bass, snares and hi-hats into a track that pushes all sorts of boundaries […] ‘Sting’ leads with a looming intro into a drop that is dominated by a rolling bassline that almost buzzes through the entire track. – Run The Trap (PREMIERE)

Exploding at the seams with bass, this joint production is an absolute system-smasher, and it’s more than ready to leave dance floors across the country in full shock. Download “Sting” via Buku and Willy Joy’s Soundcloud pages.

The track celebrates the first release off Willy and Buku’s debut 2-track EP, and their second tour together — both dubbed Leaner and Meaner. Kicking off next week at the legendary Empire Control Room in Austin, Texas, the dynamic duo will be hitting 13 cities across 8 states, with more dates to be announced.

No strangers to each other or the world of bass music, both Buku and Willy had no trouble keeping busy since their first tour together last fall. Buku’s entry on Gravitas’ Beat ALS compilation, Nebulous, dropped earlier this month, and Willy Joy’s latest remix of Major Lazer’s “Come On To Me” (feat. Sean Paul) has amassed over 450,000 plays and rising.
