TED JOHNSON – Photojournalist

A native of Washington, DC, Ted was raised by his three parents–his mother, his father, and television. He always had an interest in the arts, but it was not until undergrad that he found his niche, graduating from Swarthmore College with a degree in Film and Media Studies. It was there that his love of film flourished and that he developed additional interests in animation and photography. Since then, he has been a contributor on various events in his hometown, from concerts at the Capitol and the National Mall, to events at the White House, the Kennedy Center, Constitution Hall, and Nationals Park, aired across various networks including PBS, CBS, NBC, TNT, and HBO. He currently works as a video editor downtown. A lifelong DC sports fan, he enjoys watching and going to games, attending concerts, and keeping up with the latest releases at the box office and on TV.
