JP COOPER announces U.S. Release of single “Five More Days” featuring Avelino

Today, critically acclaimed UK singer JP COOPER announces the release of his unforgettable single “Five More Days” [featuring Avelino] through Republic Records. The track is available at all digital retailers HERE. It’s the first song from his forthcoming album due out later this year.

“Five More Days” is reminiscent of Cooper’s trademark soulful sound; however the song sees JP working his vocal into new areas; breaking boundaries and varying the melodic tempo to the point of Funk and Garage inflections. “From the moment i pick up my feet in the morning, to the minute i’m falling asleep the night’s calling” sings Cooper, as he takes us on a journey of growth, development, and the associated natural struggle. Adding to the song, hot off the back of releasing the collaborative Young Fire Old Flame mixtape with Wretch 32, Tottenham-hailing Avelino is one of the hottest rappers of the moment, flooring critics with his fluid freestyles and honest lyricism.

Cooper has already become a veritable sensation in the UK with last year’s When The Darkness Comes EP.
