“I’m so excited to be going on tour with Abel,” BANKS says. “I started my journey with this album by touring with him and it only feels right to finish it with him as well. I love my XO Family.” The Madness Fall Tour will stop at Verizon Center on Nov. 15th
Beginning November 3 in Toronto, Ontario Canada at Air Canada Centre, it then takes over iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 16 and Barclays Center in Brooklyn on November 18 where the tour comes to a conclusion. Tickets go on-sale Friday, August 28, and the full itinerary can be seen below.
It’s something of a reunion for BANKS and The Weeknd as the Los Angeles R&B songstress previously joined him on his inaugural headline tour in 2013. Back during their first run, Idolator called her “the perfect lead-in” and described the show as “a set that showcased her versatility and announced her arrival.” Radio.com wrote, “she galvanized the crowd” and “delivered slinky, electro-tinged tunes that invoked classic ’90s trip-hop heroes like Portishead and Massive Attack.”
In other big news, BANKS performed to massive crowds at almost every major festival this summer, including Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Vulture Festival, Bestival and Pemberton. She is currently working on the follow-up to her chart-topping full-length debut album, GODDESS [Harvest].
